Exception

Easy to start taking these flowers for granted at this time of year.

This one had broken off, so now sits in a little vase in the kitchen. We’ve been busy at home all day with little time for photography, and so ..... it had to be this daffodil head.

The bulbs I planted last autumn have grown and flowered, and are looking well. I made a note at the time, so I know this is a variety of trumpet daffodil called “ exception”.
