The Birthday Photo

It was our wonderful d-i-l and mother of Fiona and Tatum - Kirsten’s birthday yesterday so we went over today since she worked yesterday, to wish her happy birthday, and had a nice chat with everyone but Tatum who wasn’t there.    (She was at her high school with friends, something about a prank.  :-)   she may decide to opt out of the classes there when they start up)

But we talked about her!   She has decided (well, 99% decided, she says) to go to the University of Washington in the fall for college…. She had lots of choices and has been weighing them but decided the UW makes the most sense with what she is thinking of studying (more about that later)   She’ll live on campus, but won’t be far away.  Win-win.   We are of course delighted.  5 out of the 6 of us (2 sons and their wives) have degrees from the UW.    Whew, maybe things will get less stressful now with these decisions made….
