Need to keep a good appearance ........

...... while the Mrs is on the nest keeping the eggs warm.

It’s been many weeks since I’ve had a walk in Queens Park but this morning, before church, I had a walk round the two ponds. I could see the female swan on her nest on the island but she hides herself well among the ground cover so no photo opportunity there.

As I came down to the larger pond Mr Swan had found a sunny spot to indulge in a spot of preening.
