Magnolia

A day of mixed weather and I decided to go for a quick walk around Bicton gardens.  I hadn't been for a couple of weeks so it was interesting to see what is in bloom.  They have so many Camellias that there were still plenty in flower.  Several of the large Magnolia trees have finished flowering but there were still a large number of smaller Magnolia stellata shrubs in flower.  As I wandered along a small path surrounded by Camellia flowers I saw this large Magnolia tree with its flowers looking like candles decorating its branches.

The afternoon was spent catching up on various tasks.
