Tate Modern

To my mind, that's where this painting should be hanging. I just love it. Never mind it was done by a 20-month old! She adores painting, mostly with her fingers. The paint was so thick in places, it's taken a couple of days to dry out. No painting today - too busy playing in the garden, on the swing, making sand-pies, helping with the gardening, etc. etc. Back to proper, mild, spring weather again today (on what would have been my father's 103rd birthday).

When you're under two
it's easy to do - to paint without constraint.
When you're over fifty
you're not as nifty at dolloping out the paint.
