You didn't try; DID YOU?!?

As a broad generalisation my parcels are delivered a.m. except for ordered groceries, meals, delivered in a time slot.
Today I had to see the Dentist.  I left the house at about 15:10(ish) for a 15:20 appointment.  I've just checked one I KNOW I shot on my return and it's time-stamped @ 16:00.
SO- he snuck in during that time slot and left it lying on the doorstep.
Purely out of curiosity I thought "I'll just try that."  The letter box wasn't QUITE wide enough to take it broad way on, but took it this way round - as Scotty, of Star Trek© fame said - "It was NAE Tribble."
