More ghost signs

This is the same shop unit I blipped last week. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2826829627320699753 When I was down there today, I got lucky because this was the only shop unit I saw in the street with a number, which was 6-8, making it the premises of Medlock & Craik. As far as I can see they were more silversmiths than watchmakers, and much of their work is still on sale today. I also found more evidence of vintage sign writing here, and in the extra photos.
I looked for a photo of the premises in past times and found this. https://www.nationalgalleries.org/art-and-artists/10166/bridge-street-inverness. It's the one at the far right hand side branded 'Holm Mills,' a company which still exists today with a riverside woolen mill. This would make sense if it was a pre-1916 photo. (It seems to be undated.) The Stationary Warehouse and Library, is now the Gellions Bar. The buildings beyond that have all been demolished.
