Holme Fell

After some exhausting phone orienteering on Holme Fell  I decided to take my picnic lunch up to the summit because its a real Wainwright. This is a view of the Langdales in the shade with their dramatic saw tooth shape.
My Hill Bagging app tells me that Holme Fell is a Marilyn, a Hump, a Tump as well as a being a Wainwright, although its not very high at just 317m. In fact its the second lowest which is why I can get up it. Yes the sky does look very ominous but there was a large blue patch on the way
