Celebration of Dance

Up promptly. Coffee. Read emails etc. Then drove with GR to Sopley Farm. The shop isn’t open yet, but they sell their produce in the yard. Too early for artichokes, but we came back with asparagus. Then on to Crow Farm nr Ringwood (featured in a TV program about the New Forest a few days ago) and came away with some more goodies.

Met Mr B in Westbourne. Walked round (twice), flat whites at Ounce, then parked near Alum Chine.

Walked down to Vesuvio, one table left on the terrace. looked like you were expected to have something to eat, so ordered a vegan pizza and glass of Sauvignon.

Ended up sitting there for ages. Chatting to a lovely young Sicilian and his pretty Venezuelan girlfriend.

Spotted the now famous controversial chalk graffiti on the promenade. Thankfully starting to fade. 99% of us think it’s just defacing the area, and hadn’t realised it was supposed to be art. 1% are positive* (*namely, fellow blipper ‘Crispin25’),

Just a few hitches in the pattern. See blip, and further details below.

Then back up via middle Chine where I asked 2 council ‘Park’ employees whether the green shoots on the banks were in fact wild garlic (disputed by a Romanian friend). The English chap said it was, his Hungarian colleague said not. For me, it smells like it, probably just another variety.

Now back home and getting colder.
