Freebie!

I was at Waitrose yesterday to do my food shopping, and was tempted to buy a new bouquet of flowers. I found these lovely ‘frilly’ tulips, but they didn’t look too healthy and three of the heads had broken off. They look like they’ve been through the wars!

So I went up to the desk and asked if they could discount them for me since some were broken. She didn’t just discount them, she put on a sticker that said ‘This is on us’! Now, THAT’S the kind of bargain I love!

I decided to put the broken tulip heads in some little egg cups to see if they’ll open up. They’re all cheering up my windowsill.

It’s another cold day today. Brrrrr!! We NEED some warm weather!! Please!!
