Project 365 day 105: sunlight and rust

Today's little walk round the garden was again cold but bright, and the strong shadows helped provide several possible Abstract Thursday photos. Two were closer to the "hitch in the pattern" brief, but I have shared the photo I like best, of the patterns of sun and shade on a rusty and peeling old trailer which, long before we lived here, would have been towed by the tractor mower. It was abandoned beside the decrepit donkey shed, and one day we should do something about it, but for the moment there are lots of more urgent jobs, like growing vegetables for the coming year.

After my photography walk, I transferred 51 small romanesco plants from a tray to small pots to grow a bit bigger and stronger and establish good roots before being planted out. That sounds like quite a lot of romanesco, and it's very photogenic so doubly useful.
