Another Salvia

I bought this Salvia a few weeks ago. It quickly covered itself in many spikes of small flowers. When they were done I cut them all back and now it is flowering again. There are a lot of flowering spikes coming on. The plant had no label so I don’t know which Salvia it is. I can see it from my kitchen window, which is cheering. A nice green background would have been good, but there has been hardly any rain in the last couple of months so the lawn is very patchy. The dark tuft in the upper righthand corner is next spring’s grape hyacinths.
