Striated Sunrise

A strange cloudy sky as the sun rose above the Campsie Hills around 6.30 am with the sky marked by transverse dark and light bands. Soon all the clouds had dispersed leaving a wonderful day of warming sunshine with a surprise  invitation to join our lifetime friends on the south side for morning coffee and cakes al fresco. (Extra: What a treat!)
