Easter 2009

He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!!

This Easter wasn't marked with a big photo shoot of everyone dressed up like last year was. In fact, I don't even think we got a family photo on Easter. But this Easter was marked with family time, family fun and for me, concentrating on the significance that Easter brings. We had a full house - I think we had 16 for dinner, including all kids and all adults. It was a wonderful day and the kids LOVED all the company and all the excitement. Tyler talked Haley into some BINGO and SKIPBO and he got anyone he could to play him a game of PIG downstairs on the basketball hoop.

We hosted a family Easter Egg Hunt at Noon and a good time was had by all. Mia was the champion Egg snatcher and had a basket that was overflowing. TYler was instructed to leave the easy ones for babies and so he ran around finding all sorts of eggs that were in precarious positions. He even found an egg in the exhaust pipe on Papa's truck. Anyways, it was a fun time for sure. This is about the only picture I captured where you can see Mia's face and her dress in the same picture! Happy Easter all!
