T-Ball

T-Ball practice started tonight. Tyler was very excited, but also very nervous. He even outright said he wasn't sure he wanted to go because he was nervous. It's so darn cute when he expresses his vulnerable self. It doesn't happen too often.

Regardless, we showed up and got the cleats on and he went right to work. He played catch, ran the bases, practiced fielding and throwing to first base, did some hitting and overall, had a great time. There was a school playground right next to the practice field, so Mia was thrilled to get to enjoy it!

She's really into saying things like "We can't play on the playground right now!" instead of asking if she can. She just makes a statement that we can't do something and then if you say why not, then she says, "Can we???" It's hilarious. Tonight she pulled that maneuver and I said, "Oh we can't huh? that's too bad. That would be fun!" So, she quickly changed her tune and said, "Oh, i mean yes we can!!"

So, we had a fun time swinging, going down slides, riding teeter totters and periodically checking on practice! Life is busy... and it's only the start of the chaos to come.

I'm still recovering from this darn ear infection. I have very limited energy and major head and nose congestion. I can't wait to wake up one of these mornings and feel like myself again. I'll be ready to take on the world... as much as a pregnant woman can!!
