Blurred Rolls

Some comfort food on ANOTHER cold miserable day, even if the wind has dropped a bit, it's still not tempting to go outside and do the 1001 jobs piling up in the garden.

Last night spotted some sausages  that finally looked as though they may do the job of getting close to a British sausage and worthy of being baked in pastry. And they fulfilled my expectations. Not quite Nuremberg Bratwurst but they also come from Franconia, made by a company called "Kupfer". Back in the early 90s Angie & I used to attend a lot of western horse riding courses held by one of the owner's sons, Roger, a very well known person back then on the German western riding scene. A great guy. Kupfer also bought a business in Nuremberg s that the could make the famous Bratwurst with their EU protected PGI status. They make one million A DAY!
