The Watchtower, Barry Island.

Another walk across Watchtower Bay this morning and I thought the old Watchtower would make an interesting Blip. Built in 1860 as a lifeguard station. The Vale of Glamorgan Council owned this grade II listed property which has no mains services and decide to sell it by auction with a £1,000 reserve on it. It was sold for £60,000 to a chap who was born in Barry, but now lives in London.
