Buzzed

It feels a little warmer out, and the butterflies are a bit more widespread if still not in great numbers. Today's "first for the year" species were Speckled Wood (pictured) and Green-veined White.

While wandering the meadow looking at these I was buzzed by a slightly larger flying object (extra) - an Apache helicopter.

And then a rather disconcerting e-mail from HR to bring the day to a close.
