Twin Coast Cycle Trail

After yesterday’s bad weather, today was wonderful - blue sky and sunshine, despite more rain being forecast. Well, it is the “winterless North” after all. We got shuttled from our hotel in Horeke to Opua. The collage shows us at the start of the Trail in Opua, a vintage train trundling through the middle of the Main Street in Kawakawa, Hundertwasser decorations on a building in Kawakawa and a bridge we cycled across near Moerewa. We cycled 46.64 kms today, the most we’ve done for a long time, especially on our Bromptons. Our legs aren’t talking to us!
