Duckling

Another decent work day.  I finished shortly before 6pm, then got out for a walk in the lovely evening sunshine.  Phoned my Mum on the way - she had had her hair cut today, which she was quite happy about, and she also had her second vaccination at the weekend, which I am very happy about!

I took some leftover sweetcorn with me to feed to the ducks and geese.  I learned that it doesn't float, and ducks don't bother diving to get it.  I gave some to the Egyptian geese by the edge of the pond, and then tipped the rest out on the ground further round the pond - for the ducks, but it was actually the pigeons who got there first.  They made short work of it all.
