Gilly Flowers

Whenever I walk round the corner, a lovely scent wafts over me. It's my neighbours' gilly flowers. We intend to plant some next Autumn, God willing.

A mixed day. I logged into Valda Bailey's presentation a half hour late and then our internet connection went down. Pity. This had been one talk I had wanted to see. Then I had to get another event up on the website. Then, finally, I had my shower. No sooner had I got out than Len rushed in from tennis. The surgery wanted us to go immediately to get our second Covid jab. Which was a good thing.

A cuppa on our return and the second talk of the day by JP Caponigro which I found interesting. He seems to specialise in large wall art. That must be where the money is.

So Basil and I didn't get out until 5.30 pm for our amble round the estate.
