APPLE BLOSSOM TIME

Busy morning, just actually managing to do some housework, much needed.  Feel better now I've made a start.  Now gearing up to putting winter clothes away and getting out summer ones.  A bit too early yet but I could do with some cooler clothes of late.

As I'm typing this I'm watching Mr Blackbird perched up on guard duty and singing his heat out - it's such a joy to listen to.

Popped down to the back garden, not much there at the moment but damson tree and apple trees seem to have escaped the recent frosts and are blooming beautifully.  Our back garden is very sheltered so that's probably why.

My heart goes out to India who are really suffering at the moment, it's so heartbreaking.  Trying to think of positive things.  One of  those is that Hubby has now had his second vaccination, yesterday afternoon in Ulverston and to date there are no side effects at all, finger crossed.

Looking forward to having my hair cut next Wednesday, it's got so thick, bushy, frizzy and worse of all I look like a hair badger - still there are worse things to look like huh!!#

Just read in a local newspaper that Network Rail had to report two people who were right in the middle of the Arnside Viaduct on the rail tracks!!!!!!!!!!!  No local people will know that is a well used line and there is no room to put a pathway across so it was an extremely dangerous and stupid thing to do.  I'm assuming it must have been tourists who thought it wasn't in use or something!!!!!!!

Hope all of you in the UK are enjoying the lovely weather we are having of late.  Do take care and stay safe.  See you all tomorrow.
