A bird in the hand is worth two on the fence!

Plenty of sparrows about, even in my garden where they are fast devouring the fat balls, but I have to look a bit further away if I want to spy a chaffinch.

Fabulous day ..... hope this dry spell continues for at least the next few days ..... the painter is coming to do some outside work now that he can officially start work again.
