Wonderland

When you open the door in the morning to soft sunshine on a world covered in raindrops. These are yucca flowers, see the whole stem in the extra. There are loads of them, already here when we got here. The leaves are lethal, but gotta admit the flowers are beautiful.

Mike has prepared the other gatepost, using the welder whenever there was a bit of sun.

It's raining gently again now, so grateful because it keeps the flowers going longer and so good for our new trees, but it does make me feel a bit sad somehow.

Gratefuls:
- Paul looking after our house in Sutton for us (the tenants want to chuck out our wooden garden furniture because it's not been maintained and is rotting - shame, but fair enough)
- Deb and Sam's 8th wedding anniversary, well done, both!
-  a video of the church we built in Brazil being smartened up, painted, new LED lights installed... with the help of another church from the town; really great to see
