Cowraik Quarry

After a training day and all zoomed out, craggy and I went for a walk (well, someone wasn’t able to keep their feet on the ground). What’s not to love about rock? This is a fascinating bit of Penrith sandstone...ancient dune systems from another time. As we sat concocting a cunning retirement gift for a colleague, which has involved much sleuthing so far, we were treated to the Tufty show as a red squirrel did some high tree acrobatics overhead.
