Watching me

Saw this nice little group as I wandered past on the road this afternoon, just a few minutes after a hail shower. I didn't want to disturb their comfortable relaxation time, but I couldn't resist getting a photo, so I just snapped this as quickly as I could.
My extra is a photo taken from the edge of the wood, looking out north towards Ben Wyvis. It would have been a more dramatic shot if my camera hadn't malfunctioned at the precise moment when the contrast between the light over the pond and the shade everywhere else was greatest. The light keeps changing so fast these last few days!
