Keeping snug

It rained today.  Well - actually, it hailed first, then settled into rain.  But not for very long.  It's still jolly cold.

I had a hair cut - yay.

And made my weekly visit to the farm shop to buy fruit and veg.

And with W's help, I made a decision about the storage of the film cannisters full of seed beads, and made a start on creating the tray that I want.  Gluing today, hand stitching tomorrow.

We've put the wood burner to bed for the summer - so in the evening it's useful to have the thrums rug I am currently hooking to keep me warm whilst watching the TV.*  Monty gave us some jobs for the weekend - but I think our priority will be to plant the stuff we got from the Garden Centre yesterday.
