Life through the lens...

By ValC

Unfurling.

Dry first thing but then has been raining none stop, and the temperature down to 5C.
Decided to light the wood burner. All now nice and cosy.

Thank you for your kind comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s blip of Hannah.

My sister called this afternoon with some knitting she had done for our great grandson, due on Wednesday.
A beautiful cot blanket, and two little jackets with matching mittens and hat. One for a new born, and one for age 9 to 12 months.
Also a very cute monkey. The first time she has knitted an animal and she has done a great job.
So decided to take them over to Rhys and Katie. Needless to say they were delighted.

We were disappointed with the ending of LOD last night. Often the case when you have really enjoyed a series. It seems lots of writers start a series so well, and just don’t know how to end it.

I took this photo before breakfast as I noticed the leaves on the copper beech tree just beginning to unfurl.

After all the rain the clouds are clearing and the golden sun has just appeared. Beautiful light.

Sorry if people’s plans for today have been spoilt. No one sat outside the pubs this afternoon. Such a shame as Bank Holiday Monday is a big day for them.
Hopefully tomorrow will be dryer.
