low-flying Canal Boat :-)

I mentioned just last Tuesday that a local joint-project, between 'People Know How' and Polwarth Parish Church, was about to see a new community canal boat arrive on the Union Canal ...

... well - it all happened today and I was lucky enough to get along to the site (at Bridge 8 Hub) where the boat was being 'craned in' to the canal!

So; main snap shows the new canal boat, 'All Aboard', in full flight!; 1st extra shows the new boat, on its road-trailer, as it arrived from Liverpool!; 2nd extra is the moment the new boat touched water; 3rd extra and we're safely afloat; 4th extra is the Panacea, who came out to give some moral-support to 'All Aboard' :-)

Not every day you see a low-flying canal boat  :-))
