Relaxing on the beach

We took our grandson out to the beach late morning. The sun was shining and it was fairly calm although dark clouds were still racing by around us.  Several people were sitting or lying on the beach relaxing. As we headed back up we stopped to watch the fishermen who had fish for sale.  They were surrounded by gulls, which caused much amusement to our grandson.  Once we were back they had a quick lunch and headed back home.

This afternoon I phoned a friend whose birthday was today wanting to take a small present round and was invited to tea and cake in her garden.  A good way to relax after all the recent hosting.
