Sunset trees

Mastic and polyfilla are words for today - work on the hall is progressing slowly! The family tree is progressing even more slowly, and I spent far too much time after lunch chasing red herrings on Ancestry.

Some decidedly odd phone calls today, on my mobile as well as the land line, made me concerned that scammers have somehow got hold of my details. Numbers blocked, bank informed, and credit card temporarily 'locked'. Damn all scammers...

This evening MrM and I braved the weather and did one of our regular walks, the Humbleton round. We were lucky, and managed to avoid the showers (extra)! Still some snow on The Cheviot.

Back home to warm up in front of the woodburner, with a film and a glass of red
