Fields of yellow

Another sunny morning, and we lingered in the 'yard with our breakfast coffee.

After lunch, a trip to Kelso to collect the shopping from Sainsbury's, the first time we've been out in the car for 2 weeks. Though it was overcast, the countryside in the Borders was glorious, and bright with oilseed rape in full flower. There was a HUGE amount of shopping, packed in to a ridiculously large number of plastic bags, some with only two or three items in them.  Once home, spent the rest of the afternoon sorting it out in to three different lots, and delivering shopping to the two friends who are self-isolating. Stupidly excited that I now have eight bars of unscented soap!

Applause for the NHS and other key workers again, with the added excitement of the local fire engine driving through the town at exactly 8.00p with lights blazing and horn blaring!
