Happy Parents' Day

There are three Brandt's cormorant nests on this cliff face now, snug little homes somehow stuck on to the faintest of outcroppings. Both parents share incubation and child-rearing duties and this pair seems to be enjoying a calm Sunday morning. They are showing the bright blue gular pouch that appears in breeding adults.
