Singing In The Rain

We had a very sucessful trip to the River Weaver and canal this morning.  I didn't even mind getting wet as we saw loads of birds and were even able to photograph most of them.

I was especially thrilled to hear my first Grasshopper Warbler and then spot him low down on the fence (see extras). I still can't believe that a bird can make that noise!! They are very aptly named.
