Time for Mono Monday

This is the first time that I have Blipped for Mono Monday or indeed any of the challenges so hopefully I've done it correctly and also tagged as per instructions. I did take some photos of a tomato but I couldn't get the light right. I'm no Edward Weston obviously lol.

We took the car over to Warwick to be serviced and then walked into the town. It was absolutely dead, hardly a soul about and very few shops open even though we weren't intending to go into any, just an observation.

Quite a few heavy downpours and we luckily got a table under cover at Costa to avoid one of the heavier ones. We also just about got back to the garage in time to miss the worst of yet another one and sat inside and read until the car was finished.

Back home now and it's a lovely evening with plenty of sunshine and blue skies although over yonder the clouds are banking up again so maybe we will see yet more rain. Hope tomorrow is dry as we're heading to Charlecote first thing!
