Celandine Carpet

A dull misty morning, and then the rain started in the afternoon.  Rained all evening too.

Day off, and up early.  I managed to get washing out, and dried.  Headed out walkies with Sammy before lunch, to beat the rain.  An afternoon of chores.  Nipped down to mam's after tea, not a night to spend long on the doorstep, and also saw Laura too.  Feet up now. 

With Sammy being a rescue dog from Aberdeen, I like to take him walkies in amongst the trees.  I like to think he likes trees, but probably all in my head, it's rabbits he likes to sniff out, and anywhere.  The forest floor is a lovely colour of yellow and green just now, with a carpet of celandine.  Things seem a little late growing just now, with this cold spring snap.  Taken at the Kergord forest, Weisdale.
