The Light In The Darkness.....

A grey and blustery day ended with a wander at the coast.
The path a tunnel of green interspersed with vibrant displays of bluebells.
A joy to walk amongst the colour on such a grey day.
The rocky coastline too tempting to resist as I veered off the path for some scrambling fun.
Returning to the path to head up onto the cliffs.
The wind battering me from all directions and feeling quite invigorating up on the cliff tops.
A good place to sit and watch the seagulls as they travelled on the wind.

The cliffs a sea of yellow, the gorse all flowering so beautifully at the moment.
In the distance rays of light shone down onto the Galloway hills.
A storm is coming but still there’s a brightness shining through.

Even on the darkest of days there is light to be found if we only keep looking.
