2ND COVID VACCINE DONE

Hubby went down to Kents Bank station this morning as the volunteer workforce had a socially distanced meet up and work programme for the morning.  He painted over some of the seats that needed re-doing.  Then taped it off with notes so nobody would sit on it until it was definitely dry  - all it dried almost at once.

Just as we were having some lunch this Sea King flew over the bungalow and around The Bay, presumably it is a Coastguard training exercise but not sure.  I literally just had to grab the camera and shoot.  Sadly  the weather was a bit grey this morning so the shots aren't brilliant but not too bad for grab and go shots.  I've included a couple in extra to give a sense of place but sadly the tree dividing the house in front of us from us was in the way a bit!!!

Then I went down to get my 2nd vaccination.  Had to queue up this time but it didn't take that long and it was very well organised.  No-one organising the car park this time, but I think that's because the surgery are now doing very little first vaccinations they are being doing in Kendal and Ilminster but they doing all the 2nd ones for those of us that had  our first in surgery.

I had a very nice handsome young male Doctor this time, but I did feel it it a little more, still not more than a scratch though and they were, of course, brilliant.

Now just relaxing as my arm is beginning to feel just a little sore but so far nothing else.  So that's it, no more vaccinations now until the booster in September - wahoo.

So just G to go in this household now and that will be us all done.  His is booked for mid June, we will then be looking at him going back to Edinburgh end of August early September time to give us chance to see how the land lies with Covid.

Do take care everyone, get your vaccinations when it's your turn, I know a lot of you have already had both.   See you all tomorrow.
