Windmill 'De Palmboom', Schiedam

One of the seven tall windmills in Schiedam ('ShkHiedam').  All the Schiedam windmills are tall, obviously to get maximum benefit from the ocean winds.
'Palmboom' = 'paLmbome' = 'palm tree'

Took advantage of the very, very fair morning weather.  As you can see, though, grey clouds were already above the area.  It did rain at our place later in the afternoon, long after I'd returned.  I still think this is a crappy spot to build apartments, but aesthetics are not a priority, I guess, when there is a housing shortage, which there always is in a big city.  Behind it is a branch of the river Schie ('ShkHie').  Schiedam is directly beside Rotterdam, and together with other cities like Vlaardingen, Spijkenisse, and so on, it is one huge industrial area, and housing is needed for everyone who works there, of course.

Took another two exams, those for weeks 3 and 4, again with very high marks.  I hope to go on that way because the certificate is rather pricey.  In the meantime, AW overstretched a rib muscle while working in the garden.  I know how that feels because I had a similar problem last year.  It'll be over after about 7 to 10 days, and I told him to expect discomfort and pain throughout.  In the evening, he had his usual Wednesday bridge online.  Some of the usual housework finished the day for us both.
