Cairns Castle

We went out this morning to go to a local nature reserve but got a bit mixed up with the directions. In the end I went back along Lang Whang to the reservoir where I took yesterday's blip. Cairns Castle sits on the edge. All that remains is the ruins of the 15th century keep and it's sheltered by trees.

It's been a chilly, misty day so I've chosen to upload a mono version but I've added a colour version as an extra for those that might prefer it.

All in all a quiet day but we're on the move again tomorrow.
