LD 415 It is growing - very slowly

Just over 12 weeks ago I "planted" if that is that is the right word, some mistletoe.   The detail is here.  

Apparently it is very slow growing and the first thing to look out for is when little green shoots appear from the berry that you have stuck  to the underside of a branch.  This grows into the wood and anchors the plant, which then begins , again very slowly, to develop.   

The whole thing takes up to five years and is by no means guaranteed but checking today this first sign of progress is now evident with quite a few berries.   

Only four years and nine months to go.....
