The Broom is still blooming

A bit of a dreich day; surprisingly how much less often I stare out at the harbour when the boat’s no longer there. I spend the afternoon screiving a humorous diary piece for the upcoming Fairwind, in the manner of a celebrity columnist. Ahem.
A catch up on everything. Things kicking off in Israel and Gaza again, with Hamas goading away firing more than a few rockets (1700 to date, hitting targets as far away as Tel Aviv) which inevitably ends up with Israel flattening buildings and creating more anger and martyrdom. It’s not like anyone is going being forced to the bargaining table anytime soon.
Back here, covid cases have crept up a tad putting the move to level two at risk in Moray and perhaps in Glasgow. Much publicity being given to the upcoming move on Monday when we can visit each other’s houses. From my small sample of friends, family and neighbours, that appears to have pretty much gone in any case, and I'm sure we're not outliers.
