A Fine View

I waved Iain off to the 9:00 bus that I was originally planning to be on. After I got the fuel topped up and chatted awhile with the marina manager, I sat in the sunshine awhile waiting for the arrival of the marine electrics man.
He took one look at the situation and declared it to be not too bad and went off to fetch a couple of new batteries. Duly installed, we started up and checked the alternator voltage. All good. So that was that - the batteries were just too old and worn (yes, indeed) - they were from 2007 and 2012!
On the bus at 4:45 and then 7:35pm train from Aberdeen. Time for just the quickest of pints sitting outside the station. Good work!
