Flowers in Bloom

Popped into our local florist in search of some ribbons for a new art project and the owner kindly gave me a few samples free.
 
As she refused any payment  I  thought the least I can do is take a photo of her young assistant, 15 year old Melanie amongst the flowers.
 
Earlier I had been to the annual plant sale organised by Friends of Bridge of Allan, a “must” on any local gardeners calendar. This is a chance to buy plants which are not only suitable for our rather harsh climate but also at a reasonable price.
 
And it was good to see the town busy again, almost back to normal on a Saturday morning.
