Branch line closed

I have a squirrel proof guard to prevent the pests from raiding the bird feeder.

This particular one tried to overcome it but could not.
So it scampered up the cherry tree which in part, overhangs the feeders and tried to leap from the branch but could not get near enough.

The weight of the pest meant that the branch bent to a low level, and it was foiled.

I may well have to cut off that branch.
