Greenfinch having a shower

It was very relaxing sitting in the warm sunshine in the garden this morning, having coffee with friends. There were Orange Tip butterflies flitting around, along with various birds, including this female greenfinch. Greenfinches are quite uncommon visitors to our garden but she happily perched on a rock, sunning herself beside the wee waterfall into the pond for a long time before deciding to refresh herself with a cool sip and a light shower. Eventually she flew off to pastures new.
