Thor and Piper

Thor was rescued by Becky and Darrin when he was about 3 months old.  He and his litter mates were abandoned in a box on the shoulder of a road.  We blame his neuroses on that.  He was such a tiny, timid puppy and was scared to death of Piper the first time he met her.  It didn't take him long to warm up to her, though.  Now he's in love with her and just wants to be close to her and lick her face and ears.  He also doesn't think that Fang should be near her, and gets between them if Fang gets too close.  Or, maybe he's jealous because he thinks Fang should only pay attention to him.  It's an interesting dynamic. :-)

There used to be a lot more room for Thor on the "window seat", but now he's as big as Piper (just not as fluffy).  They seemed cozy and happy to be watching the neighborhood together.  They're all much calmer today, probably still tired from yesterday's marathon!  We're tired too.  I think it will be an early night for us if the kids aren't too late getting home.

I am grateful that I put a pot roast and veggies in the Crock Pot this morning.  It will be ready when I finish my Zoom meeting tonight. :-)
