After the yoga lesson

Back to Auckland this morning, and another day at the inpatient unit. My registrar is back after a week off. I found out that she had slipped and hit her head and had mild concussion. Fully recovered she is back and ready to work.

Autumnal weather persists. In the North of New Zealand that tends to mean very changeable, and days of high wind (check) and heavy (if intermittent) rain (check). I was back not very long before sunset, the rain resumed (without the wind) and I decided to photograph the nook where we can sit to watch television, and where S does yoga.

She has two teachers. One she goes back to Auckland to see on Wednesdays, and the other teaches by ZOOM on Mondays. This photo was taken after S had vacated the area post lesson and relaxation afterwards.

ZOOM meetings are one of the positive developments made as a result of the pandemic. Like technological advances in time of war, it likely would have happened anyway, but it has done so more quickly and with more rapid take up than it might have.
