The first dahlia

Happy to see this bloom! This year I planted 15 dahlia bulbs for the first time. The squirrels got one but the others are growing and there are buds. A variety mix so hoping to get different colors.

Maybe the butterflies and bees will be stopping by.

We are warming up to near 100F (37C) next week. Heat may be a problem.
