And I thought Mondays were good!

It was another lovely day here in Arisaig - so much so that the shorts went on at 9am and stayed on all day. Enjoyed a delicious eggs Benedict courtesy of our friend Stuart for breakfast before he and Linda headed out on their kayaks. We sorted out the fresh and waste water before walking into Arisaig - a distance of around 1.7 miles.

A lovely bowl of soup at the marina cafe hit the spot before we headed back to cook an early BBQ. Steak, sausages, halloumi and lamb kebabs accompanied by roasted baby potatoes and homemade red cabbage coleslaw hit the spot. The menfolk then went fishing whilst we ladies tidied up before enjoying a couple of glasses of wine in the late evening sunshine. We took a walk along the beach with the puppy before sunset and were amazed at the number of people and dogs waiting for the sun to set.

Back to the van just in time to met the guys coming back. A wee night went down a treat before we parted company for the evening.

Extra is the sunset. It’s been a glorious day and at least I remembered to put on sunscreen today.

Thanks to freespiral for hosting TinyTuesday with the theme of vegetables (to include herbs). It allowed me to blip the community herb garden with its centrepiece of chives.
